One of the harry Potter fan favorites is Harry Potter and the Chalice of Fire. In both the film and the book, the new adventure is among the most dangerous but also the most exciting that the English magician has had to face! Also, Harry's number one enemy is back! Lord Voldemort<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter is forced to unwittingly participate in the Tremaghi tournament, a tournament of ancient origins, an international competition that challenges the best schools of magic, namely Hogwarts, of course, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons! The tournament is held every 5 years, except that it had been interrupted some time ago because of the danger of the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As you know, three champions will compete in the Tremaghi Tournam[…]ent one for each school. They will get a score based on the skill demonstrated in each of the Tournament trials and the champion who has scored the highest score after the third round will win the Tremaghi Cup. The samples will be designated by an impartial recruiter… Chalice of Fire.<\/em> <\/p>Albus Dumbledore<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n The origins of the tournament trembled between the schools of magic was born in t<\/strong>he Middle Ages, around 1294 and then continued for many centuries, until its suspension in the eighteenth century due to the far too many motions among the young participants. In fact, it was only in 1994 that the tournament returned, just the year of the participation of Harry Potter, but with new rules and restrictions! For example, in order to participate in the tournament, you must be at least 17 years old!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Students of the three magic schools of Hogwarts, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons can register for the Tournament by entering their name in a note and then enter it inside the Chalice of Fire<\/strong>, an impartial judge who, at the time, "spits" out the name of the chosen one for each school (what should then be the most deserving student) and binds it to a magical contract. Simply put, those chosen by the Chalice cannot refuse to participate in the Tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The purpose of the Tremaghi Tournament is to push the candidates of the magic schools to pass three t<\/strong>ests that test courage, intelligence, resourcefulness and magical abilities. It's never the same tests, but tournament after tournament they change from time to time! It's often a very dangerous challenge. For this reason, one of the rules is that participants must be at least seventeen years old<\/strong>. The Chalice of Fire rejects any younger student. On the surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In J.K. Rowling's novel, Harry Potter is only fourteen years old when the Tremaghi Tournament is announced at Hogwarts by Dumbledore. The students of Durmstrang and Beauxbatons arrive in England together with their principals and participate in the extraction of the Chalice of But the scandal immediately kicks in! The Chalice of Fire chooses Cedric Diggory for Hogwarts, belonging to the house of Tassorosso and… Harry Potter. Bound to the magical contract, Harry, though unprepared, is forced to participate.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n As it turns out later, Barty Crouch Jr., who esc<\/strong>aped from Azkaban, freed from Voldemort, changes the rules of the Tournament taking the form of Alastor Moody,<\/strong> a professional Auror and called by Principal Albus Dumbledore as a professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts. All this to bring Harry closer to Voldemort and allow the Dark Lord to kill the young wizard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Crouch Jr. Witch the Chalice with a Confundus spell, ma<\/strong>king him believe that there are four participating schools and entering a single name as a representative. Harry Potter.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Harry finds himself facing, along with Fleur, Viktor and Cedric, three difficult trials during the Tournament. The first is to retrieve a golden egg protected by a Dragon<\/strong>. Harry manages to overcome it with courage and insight as well as for all the participants. Sure, Harry, he's definitely less experienced, but he still manages to catch up on the man by flying on his Firebolt broom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Right in the recovered egg, lies the clue for the second test that consists of having to save from the bottom of the black lake of Hogwarts <\/strong>one of the people that every competitor finds dearest in the world. For Harry, it's Ron Weasley. The magician finds a way to swim in the lake and be able to save his friend, thanks to the help of an aquatic plant, Algabranchia. But the real show of courage comes when she decides to help Fleur Delacour save her hostage, as she was out of the game because she was never able to get over the screws!<\/p>\n\n\n\n The third and final test is the most disturbing and dangerous. Participants must traverse a labyrinth created on the Quidditch field<\/strong> of Hogwarts and face all the obstacles in front of them \u2013 more or less frightening creatures including an acromantula. Unfortunately this trial loses a lot in the film, as you only see haunted walls. While in the book, the maze is full of magical creatures to overcome. The one who reaches the Tremaghi Cup first will be the winner. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n During this ordeal, Harry is transported to a cemetery with Cedric (the latter by mistake only) where an old acquaintance of ours, Peter Minus, resur<\/strong>rects the Dark Lord and kills the loyal and courageous Cedric Diggory.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\nBut where is the Tremaghi Tournament born and what does it consist of?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
