Harry Potter RPG! Release date June 2021?

New news comes from the long-awaited Harry Potter RPG, also called Hogwarts a dark legacy, with a likely release date for June 2021. There will be a new game set in the world of Harry Potter, a game that promises to be a real turning point for fans!

It's not the first time I've talked about it, but this time a series of clues posted on Reddit reveal some details, including hypothetical title.

It seems that the development of the game, which should be called Hogwarts: A Dark Legacy, is well under way that the final version could even be ready for public release in June next year.

Harry Potter RPG – Where will you play?

It will be a real three-dimensional role-playing game available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Google Stadia. Players will be able to define the physical details when creating their own character.

The story is this: you will play the role of a fifth-year student in the Hogwarts School of Magic and Witchcraft who moved from another institution for some unspecified reason. The evolution
of the story will be influenced by dialogues and decisions that the player will have to make. Each game will be different between players, even going on to edit the story associated with your character.

The events of Harry Potter RPG, or rather, Hogwarts: A Dark Legacy will take place several years after those experienced by Harry Potter and the diploma of the children of the p
rotagonists! So that the player can create a completely new and new story with his own decisions! We will therefore not be conditioned by the history written in the novel and the theatrical performance of the Harry Potter sequel; which tells the story of the children of the protagonists nineteen years after Voldemort's death from the famous Battle of Hogwarts.

The main antagonist of the game will not be at the Voldemort levels but will be an opponent worthy of the name since it should be an ex Death Eater.

The return to basics

It also seems that Harry Potter, who we know has become an auror, should at some point make an appearance in the scene! In fact, it will probably come to support the player in the resolution of some event.

The player-controlled character will grow with him and change over time. In addition to d
efining and enhancing some abilities at the expense of others, the choices that will be made will also define the character of the protagonist!

Each choice will move the needle of the scale to Good or Evil, at the end of a fight you should be able to decide whether to defeat or kill the enemies you face! We could also decide whether to make them even our allies.

There will also be ample space for exploring environments, with four very detailed macro-areas; Hogwarts Castle, the village of Hogsmeade, the Ministry of Magic and a fourth not yet known. Lots of characters to interact with, as well as secrets to discover and missions to complete.
